2011: Dani and I decided to compete again this year in the Wearable Arts division at the Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival. And guess what? We won People's Choice for our "Last Night in Paris" gown! Now to decide what to do next year! 2010: Star City Stitchery takes first place at the Hampton quilt festival! |

Dani and I quilted 21 feet of satin and used the quilted material to make this evening gown. We entered the gown in the Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival, Hampton VA, Feb 25th and 26th, 2010. It was entered into the wearable arts, full ensemble division. It took first place as "Best ametuer entry". (click on any picture for a better view)
